Think about marriage in the medieval
times. What comes to mind? For starters, people did not get married
out of love ! And, girls were often married at a young age to much
older men. Also, the girl had nothing to say in the choice of a
partner, the marriage was arranged. These ideas and probably a couple
others popped into your head, huh? Well, you are not entirely wrong.
Some of thee above statements are at least partially correct.
However, medieval Europe was not as terrible as we might think it
was.
